LEADER+ in Lomond & Rural StirlingThe Lomond & Rural Stirling LEADER+ Programme will support projects that improve the quality of life in the eligible rural area. Successful projects for funding must contribute to one or more of the Lomond & Rural Stirling LEADER+ objectives:
However the two overriding characteristics of all projects supported by LEADER+ funding will be the bottom-up nature of projects and their innovative or pilot approach to tackling a particular issue. Project applications will be supported by the Programme Manager and will be assessed by the Local Action Group (LAG) who meet on an approximately six weekly basis. To find out more about the LAG, click here. Detailed guidance on who can apply and eligible project activities is contained in the application guidelines. Applicant organisations must be constituted bodies, non-profit distributing companies or public agencies. The programme's overhead costs are supported by: Loch Lomond and the
Trosschs National Park Authority; Scottish Natural Heritage; Scottish
Enterprise Forth Valley; Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire; Stirling
Council; Argyll and Bute Council; West Dunbartonshire Council; and
