Summary
The Strathard Community has come together with the Birches in Craigavon, Armagh and the Tochar Valley in South West Mayo to develop an innovative training and marketing project for B+B providers in the three areas.
This project represents the first transnational project for Lomond & Rural Stirling LEADER+, and will take place over three facilitated workshops focussing on the development of marketing plans for each area and each B+B provider.
The first workshop will take place in Mayo in December, with the second workshop in Aberfoyle in January 2004, and the final workshop in Craigavon in February.
Upon completion of the project, the Strathard Community Futures Group have agreed to circulate the findings and experiences from the project to other Community Futures groups and Traders Associations in the LEADER+ area.
