Summary
This information sharing and networking event has been proposed in response
to community interest expressed through the National Park's Community
Futures Action Planning process. It will provide an introduction to opportunities
and focus on how other communities have led initiatives working in partnership
with private and statutory public transport providers. We will invite
speakers to share their experiences from other rural areas who have developed
successful projects overcoming the kind of transport problems encountered
by people living in the National Park area. Follow up site visits to these
communities are also planned.
